Well-Child Visits
Well-child visits are scheduled check-ins that let us follow your child’s growth and development over time, answer your questions, and catch anything that needs extra attention early.
What to expect
Each visit includes measurements (height, weight, and head circumference for infants), a physical exam, a review of developmental milestones, and a conversation about feeding, sleep, behavior, and anything else on your mind. We’ll also review the recommended immunization schedule at each stage.
Who it’s for
Children of all ages, from newborn visits through adolescence. We recommend following the standard well-child visit schedule, which is more frequent in the first two years and then shifts to annual visits.
Before your visit
- Bring your child’s immunization record if this is a new patient visit
- Write down any questions about feeding, sleep, or behavior — it’s easy to forget in the moment
- Bring a comfort item if your child tends to be anxious at appointments
We know pediatric visits are as much about supporting parents as they are about the child — bring every question, big or small.
